In this game, you compete against another player with a similar level to yours, deploying your respective troops to battle on three levels: in the air, on foot, and underground. So it's important to make sure your troops have a decent level and that you've trained them as well as you could. As you win battles, you'll gain important resources for leveling up and unlocking other units. Like this, it will be a little easier to survive.

In Heroes Of The Realms, you'll need to think carefully about your strategy, since the characters you can deploy are limited. Try to use them to eliminate enemy units and leave your opponent unprotected, while also keeping in mind that the same thing can happen to you. Luckily, the castles you're defending also have a special attack, although taking out units and this attack both consume mana, so you'll have to be smart about how you use it.

The story in Heroes Of The Realms doesn't have much significance to the broader game. Basically, there were three magical kingdoms that lived together in peace until the Evil came, wreaking havoc and turning the factions against each other.
